Bee Biology and Management - - (ENTM 6500 & 6500 Lab) - - Auburn University - - Spring 2021
11 undergraduates; 3 graduates.
Course Description: This course will introduce students to the biology and management of bees. The first half of the course will place emphasis on native bees while the latter half will emphasize honey bees and beekeeping.
Bee Biology and Management - - (ENTM 6500 & 6500 Lab) - - Auburn University - - Spring 2020
15 undergraduates; 3 graduates.
Course Description: This course will introduce students to the biology and management of bees. Many forms of bees will be featured, but an emphasis will be placed on honey bees and beekeeping.
General Botany - - (BIO 3110 & 3110 Lab) - - High Point University - - Spring 2012
20 undergraduates.
Course Description: A comprehensive study of the principles of botany. Topics include a survey of the major groups of plants, algae, and fungi, their life cycles, biogeography, ecology and evolution. Laboratory experience to illustrate the principles of plant physiology and adaptations, anatomy, and ecology presented in lecture.
Environmental Science - - (ENV 1100) - - High Point University - - 2011-2012
20 undergraduates.
Course Description: Environmental science is an interdisciplinary study of natural processes in our surroundings (the environment), how those processes affect humans, and how humans affect those processes. Environmental science is rapidly evolving and becoming increasingly relevant to multiple aspects of our everyday lives. It’s an exciting field that primarily draws from concepts in ecology, biology, and earth science, but you may also notice connections to sociology, political science, and other disciplines.

Biology - - Northeastern High School - - 2013-2014
Aprox 25 students per semester (100 students total)
Course Description: This course includes the study of living organisms and their processes. We will cover scientific skills, ecology, biochemistry, cellular processes, genetics, evolution, and the classification of organisms. This course includes laboratory experiments designed to reinforce key concepts.
Physical Science - - Northeastern High School - - 2013-2014
Approx. 25 students per semester (100 students total)
Course Description: This course will investigate the fundamentals of Physics, Chemistry, Astronomy, and Earth Science. We will investigate force, motion, and energy through mathematical models. We will also investigate the properties of matter, atomic structure, and chemicals reactions to allow each student to gain an understanding of the world at a microscopic level. Additionally, Electricity, magnetism, and waves will be investigated through lecture and lab work.
